New resource for teachers: iLearn2

Book Creator Ambassador Adam Foster has launched a new website providing computing resources for teachers, students and parents.

You may remember Adam as @iPadTeachers on Twitter. He’s the brains behind the successful iPad Teacher Guide, Student Guide and Parent Guide apps. He’s also the author of the Book Creator Teacher Guide ebook.

This week, Adam has consolidated these apps into one online portal: iLearn2.

What is iLearn2?

iLearn2 is a cross-platform resource for teachers, students and parents who want to get to grips with technology in the classroom. It’s full of video tutorials, lesson activities, and tips and tricks for using devices such as iPads.

If you’ve ever accessed the iPad Teacher Guide or any of Adam’s other apps, you’ll be familiar with the kind of content you’d expect to find.

There’s also plenty of Book Creator content too.

The content is divided into:

  • Primary Computing Guide
  • iPad Teacher Guide
  • Student activities
  • Content for parents

So if you sign up as a teacher, you will find content such as teaching guides for primary computing (divided into age ranges); iPad app tutorials for apps such as Book Creator, Explain Everything and Hopscotch; and whole lesson ideas for teaching with iPads, covering a range of subjects.

What’s more, Adam promises that new content will be added weekly.
