Book Creator works on all tablets (7” screens or larger) running Android 4.0 or higher. At this time Book Creator is not available for Android phones or the Kindle tablets.
Yes, you can share books between Book Creator for Android and Book Creator for iPad.

Please note that the iPad has more features than the Android version, so not everything will be editable if you send books from iPad to Android.

The iPad version has been around a lot longer and is more fully-featured.

Some of the main differences include:

  • No PDF or video export on Android
  • No comic styles and templates on Android
  • No combining books on Android

On the other hand, the Android version has a built-in reader for your books which the iPad version doesn’t have.

Yes. From Book Creator you can upload your books into Google Play Books for reading across all your devices.

At present Google Play Books does not support audio or video in user uploaded books and Book Creator will remove any multimedia during upload.
