At Book Creator, we believe in listening to educators and continuously improving our platform to better meet the needs of teachers and students.
So we recently ran a survey to which 3,000 educators responded. The verdict? A staggering 95% would recommend Book Creator to a colleague. That's amazing!
Why teachers love Book Creator
Teachers shared many reasons why Book Creator is a top choice for their classrooms. They love how easy and flexible it is. It gives students a fun way to show what they’ve learned. The digital book format also helps students think creatively and express themselves.
Katie Britton, a tech coach, put it perfectly:
"Book Creator is accessible to all students. It allows easy differentiation and gives students multiple ways to respond. Plus, everything is in one place with an intuitive design."
Teachers also love that Book Creator helps build literacy, digital literacy, and boosts student engagement. One curriculum coach said, "It’s an amazing tool that fosters a love for reading and creativity."
How do students use Book Creator?
Students are using Book Creator in many creative ways. Teachers shared stories of students using it to build portfolios, show what they’ve learned, and practice language skills. Second language learners especially enjoy using Book Creator to practice writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
One teacher said, “Book Creator allows students to practice four key language skills: writing, reading, speaking, and listening. It also lets them work at their own pace and be creative.”
With new templates, teachers are finding more ways to help students build structured portfolios. These templates are becoming popular in schools and districts. Plus, teachers are excited about the creative freedom Book Creator offers, allowing students to share ideas in a format that’s all their own.
Teachers and Admins use Book Creator too!
It’s not just students who use Book Creator. Educators are finding new ways to use it for their own work. From creating staff manuals to professional development books, Book Creator is becoming a go-to tool for teachers.
Some teachers also use Book Creator to collaborate with their colleagues. They share resources, create central libraries, or build team projects. After reading feedback, many educators said they’re excited to start using Book Creator for more collaboration.
An Atlanta Instructional Technology Director said,
“Book Creator has been a game changer for our district. Our engagement has been high, and teachers and students love how easy it is to use. Plus, it’s a one-stop shop, so they don’t need to use other tools to create a complete digital book.”
Your feedback = Our improvements ❤️
We’re always looking for ways to make Book Creator even better. The survey gave us some great suggestions, including:
- More Templates: Making it even easier to create and assign books.
- Better Design Tools: Exploring new features without sacrificing simplicity.
- Streamlined Project Management: Assigning books and managing projects will get even smoother.
A key topic was cost. As a small company focused on education, we work hard to keep Book Creator affordable. Many of our creative and accessible features are free. For those who need more, district-wide purchases unlock all premium features at a lower cost for schools.
Looking ahead: What’s next for Book Creator?
In a time when teachers are busier than ever, we’re proud that Book Creator helps by offering an all-in-one tool. We’re also keeping an eye on new trends like AI. But we’re careful to only add features that are useful and safe for classrooms.
