Memorable moments and visual elements

We created an assignment where students had to pitch the next Disney animal star. So they used the features in Book Creator to write all the information they gathered. I required the use of audio or visual and I remember one boy who never spoke up in class and never raised his hands wrote the most expressive article about electric eels. He found his voice in this project and we never would have seen it if he didn’t have the audio feature to record it and the graphic design elements to show it.

Goals and aspirations for the upcoming year

I have a very different group of students this year. This year, I will be teaching GATE. I would like to use the books to differentiate the learning so that students have what they need. This will be a space for them to show what they know and make their learning visible.

I use this book at the start of the year to help students familiarize themselves with one another and learn Book Creator at the same time. The book below is an example of what my students have created. The remixable version is available for you to use!
