Our recent webinar, Where Imagination Meets Creation: Adobe Express + Book Creator, spotlighted the magic of AppSmashing Adobe Express’s AI Image Generator within Book Creator’s publishing platform. Together, these tools empower students to design original AI-generated visuals in Adobe Express and seamlessly bring them into Book Creator for storytelling, reflection, and sharing. Hosted by Farmer Faubs from Book Creator and joined by Ann Kozma from Adobe, the session revealed how this creative pairing can amplify imagination, accessibility, and student voice in every classroom.
Highlights from the session
One of the most inspiring moments came from Michael Wesely, an Instructional Technology Specialist, who shared how his second graders published their writing with Book Creator and Adobe Express. Instead of the traditional “turn-it-in” assignment, his students became authors with a global audience. Michael explained:
"When students realize the world is their audience, everything changes. Confidence grows, curiosity takes off, and creativity becomes limitless."
Educators also got a look at practical strategies for:
- Combining Book Creator’s multimedia storytelling with Adobe Express’s AI Image Generation.
- Encouraging student voice and choice through accessible publishing.
- Using digital tools to meet diverse learner needs with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in mind.
Adobe Express + Generative AI
During the session, Ann Kozma also shared insights into Adobe’s generative AI tools, and how they can open new creative pathways for students and teachers alike. For more on how to make the most of the AI Image Generator, check out Adobe’s Generative AI Guide.

Why it matters
This webinar reminded us that creativity isn’t an “extra” — it’s essential.
When students have tools that let them design, publish, and share with real audiences, they don’t just complete assignments. They become authors, storytellers, and creators.
