How Book Creator helped one Grade 3 student overcome barriers to writing
We had a student, who was heading into Grade 3, facing challenges with traditional paper and pencil writing. To help with her transition to a new classroom, she and her Learning Support Teacher created a book in Book Creator. The most significant part of her creation was her use of the speech-to-text and voice recording features. This allowed her to bypass the physical act of writing, which was a barrier for her, and focus on the thoughts and feelings she wanted to convey
